Description of Change: New improved Power Train Control Processor(PCP) software is now used on the marine engines that are listed above.Adaptable To: The new 387-7708 Power Train Software Gp is available for use on 219-8020 Power Train Control Gp and 311-8400 Power Train Control Gp on marine engines. The recommendation is to flash the new software in at the next maintenance interval of the vessel. Refer to the latest version of Operators Guide, LEBM2714, "Multi-Station Control System Operator's Guide ", and Systems Operation and Troubleshooting, RENR7651, "Marine Multi-Station Control System" for operation information and new troubleshooting procedures respectively.The new 387-7708 Engine Ratings Electronic Software Gp is adaptable to first production 219-8020 Power Train Control Gp and 311-8400 Power Train Control Gp and is direct replacement for the existing software. The new software is effective on the PCP's with date codes on or after 10/25/11.
