Removal Procedure
Clamp assemblies MUST only be used once. Discard all clamp assemblies after use.
Bellows assemblies MUST only be used once. Discard all bellows assemblies after use.

Disconnect latch mechanisms (1) and remove shield assembly (2).

Repeat Step 1 for shield assemblies (3).

Remove bolts (5) and bolt (6).

Remove bolts (7) and shield (8).

Remove bolts (10).
Disconnect latch mechanisms (11) and remove shield assembly (9).

Disconnect latch mechanisms (13). Remove shields (12).

Remove shield (14).
Repeat Step 8 and Step 10 for the remaining shields.Note: Work in the direction indicated by the arrow in Illustration 6.Note: Attach suitable rigid support to exhaust manifolds prior to removal. The rigid support will allow removal of exhaust manifolds (17) without disruption of the bellows joints.

Loosen clamps (15).
Attach a suitable lifting device onto exhaust manifolds (17). The weight of exhaust manifolds (17) is approximately 48 kg (105 lb).Note: The joint between inlet manifold (18) and the exhaust manifold is not serviceable. Do not loosen or remove bolts (19) when the exhaust manifold, the inlet manifold, the bellows, or the turbochargers are serviced.

Remove bolts (21) and the washers from exhaust manifolds (17). Loosen bolts (20). If necessary, remove temperature sensor adapter (22) and the thermowell.

Loosen clamps (24), clamps (25), and clamps (26). Rotate turbine housing (23) away from bellows (27).Note: All clamps are designed for one time usage must be discarded.
Remove exhaust manifold (17).
Remove inlet manifold (18), exhaust manifold (18), and the bellows together.
Repeat Step 1 through Step 15 for the opposite side.Installation Procedure
