Attach Tooling (P) onto the nondriven end of the main rotor.
Attach Tooling (R) to the nondriven end of the main rotor and attach the other end of Tooling (R) to a suitable anchor.

Attach a suitable lifting device to Tooling (P). The weight of the main rotor is approximately 1398 kg (3082 lb).
Apply lifting pressure to the suitable lifting device. Remove four bolts (42) from end bracket (43) and install Tooling (M) (not shown).
Remove all remaining bolts (42).
Install Tooling (N). Tighten Tooling (N) on both sides equally until the pilot shoulder on end bracket (43) is no longer contacting the housing of the traction motor.
Apply lifting pressure on the suitable lifting device until the weight is off Tooling (M). Remove Tooling (M) by hand and remove Tooling (N).

Use Tooling (R) in order to remove the main rotor and the end bracket out of the housing.
Position the main rotor and end bracket (43) on Tooling (Q) in order to reposition the suitable lifting device. The suitable liftthat is located on the driven end of the main rotor.

Position the main rotor and end bracket (43) onto suitable cribbing.

Remove bolts (44) and install Tooling (S).
Tighten Tooling (S) evenly in order to remove bearing retainer (45).

Attach a suitable lifting device to end bracket (43). The weight of end bracket (43) is approximately 107 kg (236 lb).
Remove bolts (46).

Use Tooling (T) and Tooling (J) in order to remove end bracket (43).

Use Tooling (V) and Tooling (J) in order to remove sealing ring (47), bearing retainer (48), and bearing (49).

Move to the driven end of the main rotor (33).
Use Tooling (W) and use Tooling (J) in order to remove the inner race (51) of the bearing.
Use Tooling (X) and Tooling (J) in order to remove sealing ring (50).
