Any areas that act as potential heat sources must be inspected. If debris is found, the area must be cleaned.Note: When you inspect the machine, always look for burning debris or smoke.All fuels, most lubricants, and some coolant mixtures are flammable. Flammable fluids that are leaking or spilled onto hot surfaces or onto electrical components can cause a fire. Fire may cause personal injury and property damage. Remove all flammable materials such as fuel, oil, and debris from the machine. Do not allow any flammable materials to accumulate on the machine.Note: Flammable items may come from the following sources: leaking hoses, tubes or gaskets, filling containers, soaked rags and contaminated debris. In order to avoid a fire, clean out any debris and paper from the following areas: back of the engine, front of the engine, top of the engine, sides of the engine and belly guards.

Inspect the engine compartment for debris when you enter the machine and when you exit the machine. Open all of the engine compartment doors. Inspect the engine compartment for debris and leaks. In order to reduce the risk of a fire, clean out any debris and paper from the above areas. Use pressurized air from an air nozzle in order to blow out the engine compartment.
