Disassembly Procedure
Start By:
Remove the track rollers. See Disassembly and Assembly, "Track Roller - Remove".Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

Use a hammer and a punch to drive the plug out of stopper (2) .
Use a drill with a slow speed and a drill bit that is 12.7 mm (0.50) in order to remove stopper (2) from the ends of the shaft.
Remove bolts (3) and retainer (1) from both sides of the track roller.

Remove O-ring seal (5) from retainer (1) .Note: Put identification marks on the seals so that the seals can be assembled and installed in the original position.
Put identification marks on Duo-Cone seal kit (4). Remove the Duo-Cone seal kit from retainer (1) .

Put identification marks on Duo-Cone seal kit (6). Remove the Duo-Cone seal kit and toric stabilizer (7) from shaft (8) .

Pull shaft (8) out of the track roller enough to fasten a hoist to the shaft.
Remove shaft (8) from track roller (9) .
