Check the ground connection from the slope sensor to the tractor. If necessary, clean the ground connection. If necessary, remove paint in order to ensure a good connection between the slope sensor and the tractor.Procedure That Will Create an Error in Calibration of the Slope or Grade
In certain instances calibration values will change to an incorrect value. Step 1 through Step 4 illustrate a recreation of this error.

Hold down "SET" button (2) and dial (1) controller to the correct grade or the correct slope value.

Continue to push "SET" (2). Press button (3) in order to change from the slope sensor to the grade sensor or the grade sensor to the slope sensor.Note: It is not necessary for the controller to start on grade for this error to take place.

The slope or the grade is no longer at the original value (4) .

Hold "SET" button (2) down while the slope is calibrated.
Rotate dial (1) clockwise or counterclockwise in order to correct the slope value.

Do not hold "SET" button (2) and button (3) at the same time. Depressing the "SET" button (2) and button (3) will create an erroneous slope or grade value.
