The fuel tank cap is located on the right side of the rear frame.

Lift lever (5) and turn the lever counterclockwise until the lever stops. Lift the cap straight up to remove the cap.
Inspect seal (4) for damage. Replace the seal, if necessary.
Remove screws (1) , filter assembly (2) , valve (3) and gaskets.
Wash the cap in a clean, nonflammable solvent.
Install a new filter kit in the cap. Install the components in reverse order.

Remove the strainer from the filler opening.
Wash the strainer in a clean, nonflammable solvent.
Install the strainer in the filler opening.
Install the fuel tank cap.
