Handling Procedure for Console Covers
In the past, damage has been reported concerning the 234-6602 Cover, the 234-6603 Cover, and the 234-6474 Cover due to improper handling of the console covers. This occurs when the operator is attempting to stand up.This Service Magazine provides information for the operator on correct handling of the console covers. Do not use the console cover for support in order to stand. Otherwise, the console cover may be damaged.Removal Procedure of the Console Cover
Note: Remove the screws in order to remove the console cover. Do not remove the cover by force.Note: Follow the procedure below in order to remove the console cover. Refer to Illustration 2.

Remove screws (1) and (2) from the console.
Remove the console cover for service.
