Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the hood.

Remove bolts (1) and support (2).

Remove clamp (3). Note: Discard clamp (3) after removal. Clamp (3) is one-time use only.

Attach a suitable lifting device to muffler (4). The weight of muffler (4) is approximately 52 kg (112 lb).
Loosen nuts (5). Remove nuts (7) and U-bolt (6). Remove muffler (4).

Remove sheet assembly (8).

Remove bolts (9) and (10). Remove bolts (11).

Remove bolts (12) and bracket assembly (13).

Remove bolt (14).
Remove bolts (15). Use two people to remove bracket assembly (16). The weight of bracket assembly (16) is approximately 38 kg (84 lb). Installation Procedure
Install muffler (4) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten nuts (5) to a torque of 50 10 N m (37 7 lb ft).
Tighten nuts (7) to a torque of 15 3 N m (133 27 lb in).
