Remove the two bolts and the washers that hold guards (1) to belt tensioner cylinders (2) on each side of the machine.

Remove breaker relief valve (3) from belt tensioner cylinder (2). Also, remove the breaker relief valve from the belt tensioner cylinder on the other side of the machine.

Connect Tooling (D) to belt tensioner cylinders (2) on both sides of the machine.
Connect the opposite end of Tooling (D) to the No. 1 quick disconnect plug that is on the rear of the machine.Note: If the tractor is not operable, you must use an alternate hydraulic source.
Detention both belt tensioner cylinders simultaneously to avoid damage to the front axle.
Start the engine. Slowly pressurize belt tensioner cylinders (2) with the No. 1 implement control lever and extend belt tensioner cylinders (2) .

Install Tooling (G) over the rod end of the belt tensioner cylinder. Secure Tooling (G) with the bolts and nuts that are provided.Note: If both belts are removed at the same time, you need to install two Toolings (G) .
Use the No. 1 implement control lever to slowly vent the hydraulic pressure from belt tensioner cylinders (2) .

Remove six bolts (4) and the washers from each of the outer four bogies (5). Remove the four outer bogies.

Remove two of 12 bolts (6) that hold outer idler wheel (8) in position. Remove spacer (7). Install Tooling (E) in the bolt holes, as shown.

Remove four bolts (9) and the washers. Remove guard assembly (10) .Note: If the machine is equipped with special application drive wheels, Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7072, "Slotted Cast Drive Wheel Scrapers - Adjust" for the correct procedure.Note: Use the forks of a lift truck to support the belt. Place several wood blocks under the belt in order to eliminate the slack (sag) in the belt. Remove the belt from the idler end of the tractor. Then remove the belt from the drive wheel.

Adjust Tooling (H). Dimension (X) is 247.65 mm (9.75 inch) and dimension (Y) is 133.35 mm (5.25 inch).

Attach Tooling (H) to wheel (11). Attach suitable chains to Tooling (H). Remove the bolts and washers (12) .

Install Tooling (F) .

Remove wheel (11). The weight of the wheel is 507 kg (1118 lb).
