Install Tooling (C) under the front axle beam. Tooling (C) will help in the installation of tube assembly (17) .
Install Tooling (B) on tube assembly (17). Attach a suitable lifting device to Tooling (B). Secure the lifting device to a hoist, as shown. The weight of tube assembly (17) is 80 kg (175 lb).

Install four bolts (24) and the washers on each end of the tube assembly (17). Install the previously recorded number of shims (25) at each end of the tube assembly.
Remove Tooling (C) (not shown) from the front frame assembly.

Connect two hoses (18) and (19). Tighten two hose clamps (20) and (23). Turn two valve assemblies (21) and (22) to the ON position.

Position the wire harness and the heater hoses on tube assembly (17). Install five bolts (16) in order to install the clips.

Tighten four clamps (13) and (14) in order to connect two hoses (11) and (12). Install bolt (15) and the clip.

Connect two wire harnesses (9) at the electrical connection. Connect two tube assemblies (10) .

Install four bolts (8) in order to connect the clips and the wire harness to the frame assembly.

Connect wiring harness (7) at the electrical connections. Tighten clip assembly (6) .

Connect wire harness (5) on the cab.

Remove cap (3). Use Tool (E) (not shown) in order to refill the hoist, torque converter and brake tank. The capacity of the tank is 420 L (111 US gal). Remove cover (4). Use Tool (E) in order to refill the hoist, torque converter and brake system. The capacity of the system is 640 L (169 US gal). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7173, "Hoist, Torque Converter and Brake Tank Oil - Change" for the correct procedure.

Connect hose assembly (2) to the fuel transfer pump.

Turn ball valve (1) that is located on the fuel tank to the ON position. Prime the fuel system prior to starting the engine. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7173, "Fuel System - Prime" for the correct procedure.

Remove Tooling (A) (not shown) or suitable stands from the truck body.
After the End By procedures are completed, refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7176, "Starting with an External Air Supply" in order to refill the air tanks., End By:
Install the radiator. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Radiator - Install".
Install the hood. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hood - Remove and Install".
Install the air cleaner. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Air Cleaner - Remove and Install".
Remove the truck body retaining cable. Refer to Disassembly and AssemblySENR1500, "Truck Body Retaining Cable - Remove and Install".
