Introduction
A guard is available to protect the electrical connector for the over hitch harness at the rear of the tractor. The guard is not serviced in the parts system and can be fabricated.

Fabricate Guard (1) from 2 mm (0.08 inch) thick mild steel plate. Refer to Illustration 3.

Fabricate the guard by bending the plate as detailed in Illustration 4. Installation of Guard

Remove Exhaust Pipe (2) .

Remove Bolt (4) that secures the P-clip for the automatic lubrication lines (If equipped) to Bracket (3). Remove Bolt (5) that secures the P-clip for the harness to the bracket.

Position Guard (1) to Bracket (3). Reposition the P-clip for the automatic lubrication lines (If equipped). Reposition the P-clip for the harness before securing all the parts to the bracket with Bolt (4) and Bolt (5) .
Reinstall Exhaust Pipe (2) that was removed in Step 1.
