Remove the tilt link.
When you are using hydraulic cylinders and puller studs, always ensure that the rated capacity of the puller stud meets or exceeds the rated capacity of the hydraulic cylinder. If the puller stud does not meet or exceed the rated capacity of the hydraulic cylinder, a sudden failure of the puller stud could occur. The sudden failure of the puller stud could result in personal injury or death.

Position lever assembly (2) onto suitable cribbing. Position suitable cribbing under tilt cylinder (1). Remove bolt (3).
Release the hydraulic pressure.

Use a suitable lifting device to support Tooling (A). The weight of Tooling (A) is approximately 136 kg (300 lb). Use Tooling (A) to remove pin assembly (4). Slowly retract pin assembly (4) (not shown) until there is enough clearance to reposition the lifting slings as shown in illustration 2. Remove pin assembly (4) (not shown).

Attach a suitable lifting device to tilt cylinder assembly (1). Position suitable cribbing under tilt cylinder (1). Retract tilt cylinder (1).

Remove bolt (5). Disconnect tilt position sensor rod assembly (6).

Attach Tooling (C) and a suitable lifting device to tilt lever (2). The weight of tilt lever (2) is approximately 386 kg (850 lb).
Use a suitable lifting device to support Tooling (B) to remove pin assembly (7). The weight of Tooling (B) is approximately 136 kg (300 lb). Slowly retract pin assembly (7) until there is enough clearance to reposition the lifting straps. Remove pin assembly ().
Remove tilt lever (2).Installation Procedure
Install tilt lever (2) in the reverse order of removal.
Use Tooling (E) to install pin assembly (4).
Use Tooling (D) to install pin assembly (7).
