777 (84A1284-Up) TrucksThe 6V4050 Transmission Shift Analyzer is a diagnostic tool that can make transmission testing fast and easy. It helps you find the source of a transmission shifting problem. THE 6V4050 TRANSMISSION SHIFT ANALYZER CAN BE USED ON ALL TRACTOR TRANSMISSIONS THAT USE AN ELECTRONIC TRANSMISSION CONTROL AND ALL SCRAPERS USING A SWITCHING CONTROL. It can also be used on all off-highway trucks and tractors that are equipped with an electronic transmission control. These trucks can be quickly identified as those that also have an electronic monitoring system (EMS). When connected directly to the transmission (UP, DOWN, SYNC, or LOCKUP) solenoids and transmission switch assembly the analyzer will: 1. Determine if the transmission will shift properly.2. Automatically measure the time it takes the hydraulic controls to shift from one speed to another, to make sure this time is within specifications.3. Test solenoids and diode type (pancake) switch assemblies on or off the transmission.
The analyzer can be used in the shop or in the field. When used in the field, the power source for the analyzer is the vehicle battery. In the shop, it connects to 120 or 240 volt AC. It is protected from voltage spikes that are caused by faulty components.
