The 214-6073 Retainer has been marked in order to provide proper identification for orientation. The retainer is now stamped with the word "OUT" in order to identify the side of the retainer that must face outward from the piston pin and from the piston. The part number has not changed. The former parts that were not marked were not removed from the system. If you are installing a retainer that is not marked, make sure that the retainer is oriented correctly. Orient the retainer according to the instructions in the Technical Information Bulletin that is referenced above.
