When the parking brakes are released manually, the machine has no brakes.To avoid possible personal injury, the tires must be blocked securely before the parking brakes are manually released.

Parking Brake
(1) Threaded bolt holes
(2) Retainer plate
(3) Warning plate
(4) Bolts in the storage locations When the machine can not be operated or if the brake system does not have sufficient hydraulic pressure, the parking brake will be automatically engaged. The parking brake can be manually released when it is necessary. Perform the following procedure in order to manually release the parking brake.The parking brake is located under the cab of the machine between the articulated hitches.
Block the wheels securely before manually releasing the parking brake.
Remove three bolts (4) from the storage locations.
Install bolts (4) into threaded holes (1).
Tighten the bolts in threaded holes (1) until solid resistance is felt. This will force retainer plate (2) outward in order to release the parking brake.
When the manual release of the parking brake is no longer necessary, remove bolts (4). This will engage the parking brake. Install the bolts in the storage locations. Note: Instructions for this procedure are located on warning plate (3).
