1. Disconnect two hydraulic hoses (1) from the steering pump. Put plugs in the ends of the hoses to keep dirt and debris out of the hydraulic system.2. Remove two bolts (2) and washers that hold mounting bracket (3) to the cylinder block. Remove the mounting bracket. Prior to removing the steering pump, identify its position on the vibratory pump so it can be reinstalled in the same position.3. Remove two bolts (4) and the washers that hold steering pump (5) to the vibratory pump. Remove the steering pump. The following steps are for the installation of the steering pump.4. Put steering pump (5) in its original position on the vibratory pump. Install two bolts (4) and the washers that hold it. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 95 15 N m (70 11 lb ft).5. Reinstall mounting bracket (3) and the two bolts (2) and washers that hold it.6. Check the condition of the o-ring seals in two hoses (1). If the seals are worn or damaged, use new
