Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Note: The cooling system components and weights may vary depending on your arrangement.

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to radiator group (10). The weight of radiator group (10) is approximately 70 kg (155 lb). Place radiator group (10) in position.
Install bolts (11). Repeat for the other side.
Install the bolts that attach brace (9) to radiator group (10).

If necessary, install the guard assembly and bolts (7). Tighten bolts (7) to a torque of 20 7 N m (175 60 lb in).
Connect hose assembly (8).
Connect hose (6) to the water temperature regulator housing and tighten the clamp.

Connect hose (5) to the water pump and tighten the clamp.

Install fan (4) and bolts (3). Install guard (2) and bolts (1). Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 26 7 N m (230 60 lb in).
Fill the cooling system with coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant - Change".
