Reports have been received that the lift arms may drift on the machines listed above. When the machine is first started or after power down stall, the lift arms will drift down 100 to 200 mm (3.9 to 7.9 inch) until the ride control accumulator and lift cylinder pressure equalizes.Note: The above description only applies to the machine installed with optional ride control systems.Note: During normal operation the lift cylinder and tilt cylinder should not drift more than 10.0 mm (0.39 inch) in five minutes.Solution
In the event of failure, the lift arms must be cycled twice after start up or after power down stall to prevent the drift of the lift arms.Recommend following the machine operation and machine warm up instructions outlined in the Operations Maintenance Manual (OMM).
