Lower the implements to the ground and turn off the machine.
Turn the disconnect switch to the OFF position.
If necessary, grind the bottom rail in order to ensure that the plates contact the mainframe with no gaps at the bottom and the sides.
Position the plates on the mainframe directly above the centerline of the equalizer bar.
Place the connection for the welding ground cable close to the weld.
Weld the inside of the circular hole ONLY. Refer to Illustration 1.Note: Refer to Service Welding Guide, SEBD0512 for approved welding procedures and materials.
