Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the chain drive case. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Chain Drive Case - Remove and Install".

Remove bolts (2) and remove torque limiting coupling (3) from differential (1) .

Attach a suitable lifting lifting device and suitable lifting slings to the differential. The weight of the differential and the two rotor drive planetaries is approximately 843 kg (1860 lb).
Remove bolts (4) from support (5) .
Remove bolts (6). Use two persons and remove support (5) from rotor drive planetary (8). The weight of the support is approximately 35 kg (77 lb).
Repeat Steps 3 and 4 in order to remove the other support.

Lower differential (1) onto two suitable floor jacks. Lower the jacks at the same time and remove the axle from the machine.

Attach a suitable lifting device and suitable lifting slings to rotor drive planetary (8). Remove bolts (10) and plate (9). Remove rotor drive planetary (8) from differential (1). The weight of the rotor drive planetary is approximately 144 kg (318 lb).
Remove the O-ring seal from the rotor drive planetary.
Repeat Steps 7 and 8 in order to remove the other rotor drive planetary from the differential.
