Ripper Tip Control Valve (Shank In)When the operator moves the ripper control lever from HOLD to SHANK IN, left solenoid (6) is energized. The solenoid valve opens in order to allow pilot supply oil (45) into pilot chamber (51) on the left end of valve spool (39). The pressure of the pilot oil shifts the valve spool to the right.When valve spool (39) shifts, right orifice (55) is exposed to the pressure in passage (47). The oil that enters orifice (55) becomes signal oil. The signal oil flows through an internal passage in the middle of valve spool (39) to signal chamber (57). From signal chamber (57), the oil flows to resolver (41) and to spring chamber (56) .The signal oil is at the same pressure as the oil in the head end of ripper tip cylinders (14). If this pressure is higher than float boost signal (40), the ball in resolver (41) shifts to the right. The signal is sent through the resolver network. If this signal is the highest pressure of all the implements, the signal is sent through the inlet manifold to the compensator valve of implement pump (29). The pump upstrokes in order
