This procedure is preliminary check to verify brake disc ware.Required Tools

(1) Drain portMachine Preparation
Move the machine to a smooth horizontal location.
Chock the wheels.
Lower all of the implements.
Release the air pressure from the air tank by opening the drain valve.
Remove the plug from drain port (1) .
Install 5P-7389 Plug As (F) in drain port (1) .Test Procedure
Remove the inlet air line. Apply air pressure through the inlet port in order to move the piston to the ON position. The inlet port is opposite the drain port.Note: The air pressure should not exceed the cut-out pressure of 1000 34 kPa (145 5 psi).
Observe the mark on the piston. Inspect the brake discs if the mark on the brake piston is not visible through the transparent plug.
Relieve all air pressure from the brake.
Remove 5P-7389 Plug As (F) .
Install the inlet air line and install the plug into drain port (1) .Note: Before you install the plug into drain port (1) , apply blue Loctite 242 to the threads of the plug.
