Disassembly Procedure
Start By:
Remove the speed control valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Speed Control Valve - Remove".
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before operating any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.After collecting all fluids in suitable containers, dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Note: The following procedure is intended for cleaning purposes only.

Remove two bolts (2) that are not shown. Remove main control valve (1) .

Remove housing (3) and valve assembly (4) from main control valve (1) .

Remove the following items from valve assembly (4) : spool (5), seal ring (6), O-ring seal (7) and O-ring seal (8) .

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Remove the following items from housing (3) : spool (13), retainer (12), spring (11), shim (10) and O-ring seal (9) .

Remove O-ring seals (14). Remove bolts (15) and pilot control valve (16) .

Remove the following items from pilot control valve (16) : O-ring seals (17), plug assembly (20), spring (19) and spool (18) .

Personal injury can result from parts and/or covers under spring pressure.Spring force will be released when covers are removed.Be prepared to hold spring loaded covers as the bolts are loosened.
Remove cover assemblies (21) .

Remove four plug assemblies (22) from cover assemblies (21). Remove springs (25) and spool (26). Remove O-ring seals (23) and (24) .
