EMCP 4.2B Control Panel Interface
The EMCP 4.2B Panel Interface mounted on the generator allows the operator to monitor, and if necessary, manually start the generator.Emergency Stop Button
The red emergency stop button is located directly underneath the control panel. Pressing the button while the unit is running will immediately shut down the generator. To restart the unit, the emergency stop button must be manually reset, the alarm acknowledge "ACK" button must be pressed, then the "Reset" button must be pressed, and either the "RUN" or "AUTO" button must be pressed, depending on the desired mode of operation.Alarm Horn
To the right of the emergency stop button is an alarm horn. The alarm activates when any shutdown is PRESENT or ACTIVE in the event log or any warning is PRESENT in the event log (regardless of source). Pressing the alarm acknowledge "ACK" button on the key pad will acknowledge the alarm and silence the horn. The manufacturer recommends that the local service dealer to be notified of any alarm condition in order for qualified service personnel to assess and correct the situation.Display Window

The EMCP 4.2B display can be used for monitoring the generator status, viewing and resetting events, and configuring setpoints. There are several preferences to alter how you view the data on the display. These include: display contrast, units used to display pressure, units used to display temperature, units used to display volume, and displayed language (to select between the customer language and Technician English).Note: These preferences do not affect operation of the EMCP 4.2B, the values in the SCADA communications (Modbus) or the data as viewed in the Cat Service Tool.
