Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

Use Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to lower main control valve (13) into position. The weight of main control valve (13) is approximately 238 kg (525 lb).

Attach Tooling (C) to the back of main control valve (13), as shown.
Use Tooling (C) and a suitable lifting device to slide main control valve (13) into position.

Install bolts (14) and (15) .
Remove Tooling (B) and Tooling (C) .

Connect hose assemblies (9), hose assemblies (10), hose assemblies (11), and harness assembly (12) .

Install shield assembly (8) .

Install tube assemblies (6) and bracket assemblies (7) .

Connect hose assemblies (5) .
Fill the hydraulic system with clean oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Refill Capacities".

Raise lifting arms (2) and remove Tooling (A) from lift cylinder (4) .
Lower lift arms (2) in order to position bucket (3) on the ground.

Install cover (1) .End By: Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
