COUPLING AS 2158251 - Caterpillar

1. Disconnect elbow (1) from exhaust manifold. 2. Disconnect tube assembly (5) from pipe (4).3. Disconnect pipe (4) from cylinder head and from temperature regulator housing (3).4. Remove nuts (2) that hold exhaust manifold to cylinder head.5. Fasten a hoist to exhaust manifold and remove exhaust manifold from cylinder head. Weight is 60 lb. (27 kg).6. Remove pipe (4) from exhaust manifold.Install Exhaust Manifold (Marine Engine)
1. Install a new O-ring seal (1) on pipe (2) if needed. Put liquid soap on O-ring seal. Install pipe (2) on exhaust manifold.2. Put 5P3931 Anti-Seize Compound on studs. Fasten a hoist and put exhaust manifold in position on cylinder head. Install nuts that hold exhaust manifold to cylinder head. Tighten the nuts in the number sequence shown to a torque of 38 5 lb.ft. (49 7 N m). 3. Connect pipe (2) to cylinder head and to temperature regulator housing. Connect the tube assembly to pipe (2).
