Removal Procedure
Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

Remove clamps (1). Remove nuts (3) and elbow assembly (2).
Remove elbow assemblies (4) and (6).
Remove bolts (5).

Remove nuts (7). Remove exhaust gas cooler (8).
Illustration 3 g02070034Note: Discard bellows (9) after use.
Loosen clamp assembly (10) and separate bellows (9) from elbow (2). Discard bellows (9). Installation Procedure
Install exhaust gas cooler (8) in reverse order of removal.
Tighten nuts (3) to a torque of 70 5 N m (52 4 lb ft).
Tighten clamps (1) and (10) to a torque of 7.5 1 N m (66 9 lb in).

Ensure that the end of bellows (9) with the taper (A-A) is facing the exhaust manifold.
