B     8C-8422     Sealant     1    Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Apply Tooling (A) to the mating surface of air inlet heater (9) .
Install air inlet heater (9) and bolts (8) .
Connect cable assembly (7) .

Apply Tooling (B) to the mating surface of elbow (2) .
Install elbow (2), bolts (6), and studs (5) .
Connect harness assembly (4) .

Install bracket assembly (3) .

Connect hose (1) to elbow (2) .End By:
Install the fuel priming pump and the primary fuel filter. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fuel Priming Pump and Primary Filter (Water Saparator) - Remove and Install".
Install the secondary fuel filter. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fuel Filter (Secondary) and Fuel Filter Base - Remove and Install".
