Select the hydraulic modulation mode as aggressive. Press the lower front switch on the left joystick to select the hydraulic modulation mode.
Ensure that the air conditioning is turned off for the following test.

Release the service brake pedal.
Fully depress the travel pedal.
Start the Electronic Technician
Select the Machine ECM and then select “OK”.
Select “Diagnostics” from the main menu.
Select “Diagnostic Tests”.
Select “Override Parameters”.

(6) “Travel Pilot Solenoid Current Override”
Select “Travel Pilot Solenoid Current Override” (6) and set the current to 0.8 amp.
Verify the main pump flow on the flow meter and the engine speed in Cat ET.
Disable all overrides and release the travel pedal.
Compare the main pump flow on the flow meter with the calculated target pump flow, refer to Table 1.
If the main pump flow is not within tolerances, then adjust maximum displacement. Refer to Section "Adjustment Procedure".Adjustment Procedure

(1) Maximum displacement screw

Remove the cap from maximum displacement screw (1).
If the main pump flow is too high, turn the adjustment screw clockwise to decrease the maximum displacement. If the main pump flow is too low, turn adjustment screw counterclockwise to increase the maximum displacement.Note: Always make the final adjustments as the flow increases.
While maximum displacement screw (1) is being held, tighten the locknut to the specified torque.
Repeat the "Test Procedure" until the target pump flow has been met.
Install the cap onto maximum displacement screw (1).
If the main pump flow procedure was successful, then failure may have occurred in the following components:
Travel section of the main control valve
Maximum displacement of the travel motorNote: Perform the procedures in the main
