Remove the ripper cylinder. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Ripper Cylinder - Remove and Install".

Lower the ripper assembly on Tooling (A) .

Install a lifting device to lift cylinder pin (1). Remove pins (2). Lower the ripper frame on Tooling (A) .

Install lifting straps and a lifting device to ripper carriage (3) .

Install Tooling (C) to arms (4). Install Tooling (B) to the cab and back to Tooling (C). Remove pins (5). Lift arms (4) out of the way.
Remove ripper carriage (3) off Tooling (A). The weight of ripper carriage (3) is approximately 907 kg (2000 lb).Installation Procedure
Place ripper carriage (3) on Tooling (A). The weight of ripper carriage (3) is approximately 907 kg (2000 lb).

Lower arms (4). Install pins (5). Remove Tooling (C) from arms (4). Remove Tooling (B) from the cab and from Tooling (C) .

Raise the ripper frame off Tooling (A). Install pins (2). Remove the lifting device from lift cylinder pin (1). Remove lift cylinder pin (1) .End By: Install the ripper cylinder. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Ripper Cylinder - Remove and Install".
