Removal Procedure
Turn the battery disconnect switch into the OFF position. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Battery Disconnect Switch".

Remove negative cable assembly (5) and disconnect ground strap (6). Disconnect harness assemblies (1) and (3). Disconnect positive cable assemblies (2) and (4).

Remove bolts (8) and use two people in order to remove electric starting motor (7). The weight of electric starting motor (7) is approximately 36 kg (80 lb). Repeat for the other electric starting motor. Installation Procedure

Use two people in order to install electric starting motor (7). The weight of electric starting motor (7) is approximately 36 kg (80 lb). Install bolts (8). Repeat for the other electric starting motor.

Connect positive cable assemblies (2) and (4). Connect harness assemblies (1) and (3). Connect ground strap (6) and install negative cable assembly (5).
Turn the battery disconnect switch into the ON position. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Battery Disconnect Switch".
