Assembly Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Put inner rotor (5) in the original location in engine oil pump (1) .
Put outer rotor (4) in the original location in engine oil pump (1) .
Check the clearances and the end play between inner rotor (5), outer rotor (4) and cover (2). Refer to the Testing and Adjusting Module, "Lubrication system" topic for more information.

Put cover (3) in position on engine oil pump (1) .
Install four bolts (2) that hold cover (3) in position on engine oil pump (1) .
Tighten four bolts (2) to a torque of 28 N m (21 lb ft).End By: Install the engine oil pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "engine Oil Pump - Install".
