Remove and retain four 20 mm long screws (A) that secure platform/service door (B) and two hinges (C) to the frame.
Remove platform/service door (B) and two hinges (C) from the machine.

Remove and retain four 25 mm long screws (D), four washers (E), and four nuts (F) that secure two hinges (C) (one shown) to platform/service door (B).
Remove spacer plates (G) from between hinges (C) and platform/service door (B).

Using four 20 mm long screws (A) retained in Step 1 with four nuts (F) retained in Step 3, reattach two hinges (C) (one shown) to platform/service door (B).

Disconnect inside and outside wiring harnesses (H).
Remove machine controller support/bracket (J) from the cross support.
Move inside and outside wiring harnesses (H) and machine controller support/bracket (J) away from the work area above the combi hydraulic oil filter housing.

Cover all components to protect from debris when cutting/grinding the cross support.
Refer to Illustration 5 for Steps 10 through 15.Using a straight edge and appropriate marking tool, draw the following reference lines on the cross support.
Reference line (a) extending up and down from the inboard edge of the harness connection cutout
Reference line (b) using dimension (h) parallel to reference line (a)
Reference line (c) using dimension (j) parallel to reference line (a)
Reference line (d) at the top of the vertical surface of the cross support
Reference line (e) between reference line (b) and reference line (c) set back from the vertical surface of the cross support using dimension (k), and parallel to reference line (d)
Drill one 11 mm (0.43 inch) diameter hole (f) where reference line (b) and reference line (e) meet, to make a round corner in the section being removed.
Drill one 11 mm (0.43 inch) diameter hole (g) where reference line (c) and reference line (e) meet, to make a round corner in the section being removed.
Using a grinding wheel or metal blade saw, cut along reference line (b) upward and forward to 11 mm (0.43 inch) diameter hole (f) .
Using a grinding wheel or metal blade saw, cut along reference line (c) upward and forward to 11 mm (0.43 inch) diameter hole (g) .
Using a grinding wheel or metal blade saw, cut along reference line (e) between reference line (b) and reference line (c).
Using a grinding wheel, round any sharp corners or rough edges.
