The screen on the machine with the Tier 3/Stage III engine does not contain this gauge.Each instrument panel is equipped with operator display (13). The display communicates with the ECMs on the machine through CAN"A". When the display is on the operator screen, the upper information banner shows propulsion and steering data.Machine direction icon (14) indicates the target machine direction. Actual machine speed (15) is shown to the right of the machine direction icon. Target machine speed (16) is shown to the right of the target symbol. In the maneuver and pave modes, speed is displayed in meters per minute or feet per minute. In travel mode, speed is displayed in kilometers per hour or miles per hour. Machine speed units depend on the display units chosen.Steering percentage icon (17) indicates steering direction (19) and steering value (18). The arrows of the steering direction indicate actual steering direction. The steering value is displayed as a percentage value. When the steering wheel is in the straight travel position, the steering value is zero. When the steering wheel is turned, the steering value increases. When the steering wheel reaches either stop, the steering value is 100.

(25) Hill Hold screenThe machine control system is programmed with hill-hold logic. This logic prevents the machine from rolling backwards on steep inclines during the transition between neutral and forward while in pave mode.The operator can use the display to enable or disable the hill-hold logic. When this logic is enabled, the transmission ECM does not release the parking brake until one of the following conditions are met:
The propulsion calibration offset current is achieved.
The duration of the rollback brake timer has elapsed.Note: The values for the propulsion calibration offset current and the rollback brake timer duration are factory set and stored in the transmission ECM logic.Hill-hold logic allows the pressure in the propulsion circuit to increase before the parking brake is released. Since this action increases wear on the parking brake, the feature should only be enabled while the machine is paving on steep slopes.To change the status of the hill-hold logic, the operator must first tap machine icon (20) on operator screen (21). Then,"Settings" must be tapped on machine screen (22), and"Propel" must be tapped on settings screen (23). When"Hill Hold" is tapped on propel screen (24), the operator can tap"Enable" or"Disable" on hill hold screen (25). A tap of the"OK" icon on the hill hold screen must occur to save the selected mode.Note: The up and down arrows on the right side of the screen allow the operator to highlight the available options. The "OK" icon confirms the selected option.
