Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the main hydraulic pump and the pump drive coupling. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Main Hydraulic Pump and Pump Drive Coupling - Remove".

Fasten Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to the flywheel, as shown.
Remove eight bolts (1) and the washers.
Remove the flywheel. The weight of the flywheel is 50 kg (110 lb).
If the flywheel ring gear needs to be replaced, position the flywheel on a wood block. Use a hammer and a punch in order to remove the ring gear.Installation Procedure

Install a new ring gear on the flywheel. Heat the ring gear to a maximum temperature of 300 °C (572 °F). Position the ring gear so the part number is facing toward the crankshaft. Use a soft drift in order to seat the ring gear against the flywheel shoulder once the ring gear is cool.

Fasten Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to the flywheel, as shown. The weight of the flywheel is 50 kg (110 lb).
Install the flywheel. Put the flywheel in the original position on the crankshaft.
Install the washers and eight bolts (1). Tighten eight bolts (1) evenly to a torque of 300 40 N m (220 30 lb ft).
Check the flywheel runout. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Flywheel Runout" in the specifications manual for the correct procedure.End By: Install the main hydraulic pump and the pump drive coupling. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Main Hydraulic Pump and Pump Drive Coupling - Install".
