Remove the fuel tank. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fuel Tank (Right Side) - Remove".
Remove the alternator. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Alternator - Remove and Install".Note: SERVICE DATA: TOOLING (ZZ) WILL NOT BE IDENTIFIED IN PHOTOGRAPHS IN THE REMOVAL OR THE INSTALLATION. THIS TOOLING IS SHOWN IN ORDER TO ASSIST THE EXPERIENCED SERVICEMAN.
Drain the cooling system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Level - Check" for the correct procedure.

Remove bolts (1) and plate (2) .

Disconnect hose (3) .
Disconnect hoses (7) .
Disconnect hose assembly (4) .
Remove bolts (5) .
Remove water pump (6) .
