This Program can only be administered after a failure occurs. The decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS0948" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The combination line relief/make-up valves may fail and need to be replaced in certain 5130 Excavators. Separate line relief and make-up valves will prevent this type of failure. This rework should be applied to replace all the combination line relief/make-up valves in the indicated locations should any single combination valve experience a failure.

1. Remove the original (6) line relief valves as noted on Illustration 1 and replace them with new 1275652 Relief Valves. Tighten to 325 40 N m (240 30 lb ft).2. Remove the (3) plugs as noted on Illustration 1 and replace with new 1079407 Make-Up Valves. Tighten to 325 40 N m (240 30 lb ft).Service Claim Allowances
