Start By:
Remove auxiliary water pump.

Remove bolts (1), cover (2), and the shims. Remove port plate (3) from cover (2). Remove O-ring seals (4) .

Place a mark on the bearing housing and the impeller housing to show orientation. Remove bolts (5) and the shims if present. Using a suitable press, remove shaft and bearing housing assembly (7) from impeller housing (6) .

Using Tooling (A), remove bolt (8) and gear (9) .

Remove retaining rings (10) and (11). Position the shaft and bearing housing assembly in a suitable press and remove shaft and bearing assembly (12) from bearing housing (13) .Note: The inner race of the lower bearing will remain on the shaft when the shaft is removed from the bearing housing. The outer race and roller assembly will remain inside of the bearing housing. This is normal per the bearing design.

Using a suitable press, remove shaft (15) from bearing (14) .
Using Tooling (B) and suitable press, remove lower bearing inner race (16) from shaft (15) .

Remove seal collar (17) and O-ring seal (18) .

Using a suitable press, remove bearing race and roller assembly (19) from the bearing housing.
Remove lip seal (20) .

Remove drain plug (26) and the O-ring seal. Remove impeller (21), port plates (22) and (23), impeller (24), and port plate (25) from impeller housing (6) .

Remove tube (27) and the O-ring seal (not shown). Remove seal and spring assembly (28) .
