Inflate tires to correct pressure. See your tire dealer.Bring engine coolant, crankcase oil and transmission oil up to correct levels.Check with proper officials to obtain required permits, etc.Travel at moderate speed. Observe speed limitations when roading machine. Stop every 25 miles or 1 hour to allow tires and components to cool.Shipping
Investigate travel route for overpass clearances. Make sure there will be adequate clearance if vehicle being transported is equipped with ROPS, cab or canopy.Use extreme care to avoid slipping if loading dock or ramp has ice, snow, grease or oil on it.
Investigate state and local laws governing weight, width and length of load.Remove ice, snow or other slippery material from truck bed before loading, to avoid load slipping in transit.
1. Block trailer or rail car wheels before loading. 2. After machine is in position, connect safety link to hold articulated frame rigid. 3. Turn disconnect switch OFF and remove key, if so equipped. 4. Block tires and secure loader with tie-downs.
