MATERIAL HANDLER,

Information:
the GENB CT current sensor remains disconnected.Note: In the next step, when the battery disconnect is in the ON position and the engine lockout control switch is moved to the ON position (lock out), the 24 V control system voltage will be energized regardless of the status of the key start switch.
Energize the 24 V control system by moving the battery disconnect to the ON position and the engine lockout control switch to the ON position.
At the harness connector for the GENB CT current sensor, measure the voltage between the (+) 15 V circuit contact 1 (wire PWR4P-RD) and a good cabinet ground contact point.
At the harness connector for the GENB CT current sensor, measure the voltage between the (-) 15 V circuit contact 2 (wire PWR4N-BU) and a good cabinet ground contact point.Expected Result:The voltage measurements should indicate approximately (+)15 V and approximately (-) 15 V.Results:
OK - The voltage measurements are indicating that the ECM power supplies for the sensor are correct. Proceed to the Test Step 4.
NOT OK - At least one of the voltage measurements between the power supply circuits and cabinet ground is not correct. Both of the power supplies for the current sensor are not present at the sensor connector.Repair: Refer to the connection diagram at the beginning of this procedure. Check the power supplies at the ECM connector contacts. If the correct voltage is not measured at the ECM power supply contacts, proceed to the "CHECK THE STATUS OF THE DIAGNOSTIC CODE" Test Step.If the correct voltage is measured at the ECM power supply contacts, there is an open or a poor connection in the power supply circuit between the ECM and the current sensor.Check the power supply connections at Terminal Block 2.Replace the power supply cable if required in order to resolve the problem.STOPTest Step 4. CHECK THE CURRENT SENSOR CIRCUITS FOR A SHORT TO GROUNDThe engine lockout control switch remains in the ON position. The harness connector for the GENB CT current sensor remains disconnected.
Turn the engine lockout control switch to the OFF position.
Verify that the key start switch is in the OFF position. Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.
Remove the cabinet compartment cover (2) from the compartment that contains the Motor 2 ECM.
Disconnect the harness connector J2 from the Motor 2 ECM.
At the harness connector J2, measure the resistance between the sensor signal (+) contact J2-34 (wire SIGA2P-BK) and a good cabinet ground contact point. Measure the resistance between the sensor signal (+) contact J2-34 and all of the other circuit contacts that are used in the J2 harness connector.
At the harness connector J2, measure the resistance between the sensor signal (-) contact J2-33 (wire SIGA2N-BK) and a good cabinet ground contact point. Measure the resistance between the sensor signal (-) contact J2-33 and all of the other circuit contacts that are used in the J2 harness connector.Expected Result:Each resistance measurement between the sensor signal circuits, cabinet ground, and each of the other circuits in the J2
