When submitting claim for Parts Stock Action, Use the appropriate 99Z as the s/n, the appropriate Service Letter Program Number as the Part number in the Part Causing Failure field, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Description Code.

PROBLEM
Certain 1J4757 Bearings need to be removed from dealer parts stock. These 1J4757 Bearings may be non-conforming to specification which can result in early hour failures or reduced life of the bearing.
ACTION REQUIRED
Inspect all existing 1J4757 Bearings in dealer parts stock for a 2008 date code. To determine which bearings have a 2008 date code check the two-letter code stamped on the end of the bearing race. 1J4757 Bearings with a 2008 date code can be identified by an "N" as the second digit in the code. An example of a date code with the second digit of "N" would be "KN". Remove all existing 1J4757 Bearings from dealer parts stock with a 2008 date code where the second digit is an "N".
SERVICE CLAIM ALLOWANCES
Submit one claim for all parts removed from dealer parts stock.
PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
