(1) crosstalk featureThe software contains additional features. A crosstalk feature has been added to the system. The crosstalk feature will allow the operator on one side of the machine to communicate with the opposite side control. This will allow the operator to change the grade or the slope when the crosstalk feature button is pressed. The menu option for crosstalk feature is "NET". The default setting for Caterpillar Asphalt Pavers is "OFF".An item was added to the external auto "EA" menu. The three selections that follow are now available on the "EA" menu:

NEGThe menu item "EA" will not function on Caterpillar Asphalt Pavers when the setting is on either the ON setting or the NEG setting. The normal setting for Caterpillar Asphalt Pavers is the OFF setting.In addition to the above changes, the gain on the grade and the slope have changed to 0 to 200 range. The default value for Caterpillar Asphalt Pavers remains at 75.
