If the equipment was inside a building or under/next to a large obstacle, have the customer attempt to move the equipment to a more open location with a clear line of sight to the sky.
If the equipment was in a clear line of sight to the sky, then refer to Special Instruction, REHS9111 for proper placement of the radio.
If the radio was in the proper location, refer to "On-Site Diagnostics".On-Site Diagnostics
Note: When a GPS location is valid, "Fix Quality" in the GPS information will show "3D Fix" inside the "Web Configuration Page".

If the "Web Configuration" home page is accessible, proceed to Step 4.
From the "Web Configuration" home page, navigate to the "Service Dashboard" then the "Radio Information" page. Note the "GPS Antenna Status".
If the "GPS Antenna Status" is "Missing" check for any loose connections.
If loose connections are found, repair the connections and return the system to service.
If no loose connections are found, proceed to Step 6.
If the "GPS Antenna Status" is "Present", proceed to Step 5.
If the "GPS Antenna Status" is "Shorted", proceed to Step 6.
If the "GPS Antenna Status" is "NA", the radio has an internal antenna. Verify that the radio mount has a clear line of site to the sky. Refer to Special Instruction, REHS9111 for proper radio placement.
If the radio is not mounted correctly, correct the radio mounting.
