When reporting the repair, use "PS51756" as the Part Numberand "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

PROBLEM
The existing lip seals in the 177-0274 Gear Pump Group may fail on certain 769D, 771D, 773D, 773E, 775D, 775E, AND 777D Off-Highway Trucks. The seals in this pump, for the secondary steering/brake release, may not be sufficient for the system pressures. Failure of the seals can result in leaks and unwanted downtime.

Reference Electric Drive Pump in SENR1584 Disassembly and Assembly Manual to remove and install the Electric Drive Pump, and reference Gear Pump in SENR1421 Disassembly and Assembly Manual to replace the seal kit on the secondary steering/brake release pump group for 773D, 775D, 773E, and 775E Off-Highway Trucks.
