Removal Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the removal procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.Note: Put identification marks on all hoses, on all hose assemblies, on all wires, and on all tube assemblies for installation purposes. Plug all hose assemblies and all tube assemblies. This helps to prevent fluid loss, and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.

Remove cover (1).

Remove bracket assembly (2).

Remove tube assembly (3).

Disconnect electrical connectors (4) and (6).
Disconnect hose assemblies (5), (8), (9) and (10).
Remove the bolts that hold manifold (7) to the transmission. Remove the manifold and the O-ring seals.
Remove cover assembly (11).

Remove the bolts that hold sleeves (12). Remove sleeves (12).

Remove O-ring seals (13) from sleeves (12).

Remove nut (16) from wiring harness (15).
Remove wiring harness (15) from the transmission case.
Remove four bolts (17) from transmission hydraulic control valve (18).
Attach a suitable lifting device to eyebolt (14). The weight of transmission hydraulic control valve (18) is approximately 50 kg (110 lb). Remove transmission hydraulic control valve (18) from the transmission.
