3208 Engines With Front Power Take-Off AdapterA change has been made to the bolt torque specifications for the front crankshaft pulley and front power takeoff adapter on 3208 Engines with 130 to 157 kW (175 to 210 hp). These engines when used in special applications where a front power take-off is used must have a strong pulley to crankshaft junction. The increased bolt torque will make this junction stronger.
The new torque specification for the crankshaft pulley bolt is 950 + 50 N.m (700 + 37 lb ft). The new torque specification for the bolts that fasten the power take-off adapter to the crankshaft pulley is 55 + 7 N.m (40 + 5 lb ft).
