Pump Functionally
The pump is composed of an electric motor attached to a shaft via a worm gear. This shaft drives both the single pumping element and the wiper blade. The pumping element is attached to the shaft via a cam and follower. No springs are present.

The pump is a fixed output piston pump. The pump output is 0.12 cc (0.00732 cubic inch) per stroke/ pump rev. The pumping element is serviceable from the exterior of the pump. Follow instructions on pump label for proper assembly of replacement part.The pumping element must be inserted at an angle and then pivoted down to ensure a proper seating of the follower on the cam.Replacing Pumping Element
Verify that the red agitator blade is opposite (180 degrees) from the pumping element.
Only install or remove the pumping element while the pump is turned off.

(1) Relief valve
Remove the relief valve with a 17 mm wrench, as shown in Illustration 2.

(2) Adapter
Remove the adapter with a 19 mm wrench, as shown in illustration 3.

(3) Piston
Unscrew the pumping element with a 24 mm wrench and tilt down as shown in illustration 4, taking special care that the piston (3) does not remain in the pump housing
During installation of the pumping element have the piston partially extended and insert at an upward angle, as shown in illustration 4.

When the element is inserted all the way return the element to flat and screw the element in all the way, as shown in illustration 5.
Reassemble all parts and tighten.

The pump is retrofitted with an over pressure relief valve. This limits the system pressure to 280 bar (4060 psi). Attached to the relief valve is a hose that reroutes grease back to tank in the event of system over pressure. Incorporated into the relief valve is a non-return valve that restricts flow back to tank. The main supply line is attached to the end of this valve.Reservoir Lid Sensor

The reservoir lid contains a capacitance sensor and steel rod to aid in grease agitation during operation. The capacitance sensor is used to indicate a low reservoir.Note: Upon the event of grease falling below the sensor level, the greasing cycle will continue and error alert is sent to display (active/logged). Upon refilling the reservoir, the system error code will automatically be cleared.
