Removal Procedure
Open the hood.

Remove muffler clamp (2). Remove heat shield (3) .
Remove muffler clamp (1) from muffler (5) .
Remove clamp (6) from muffler (5) .

Remove bolts (8), the washers and manifold gasket (9) .

Remove exhaust pipe (7) from muffler (5) .
Remove the muffler from muffler mounting bracket (4) .Installation Procedure

Install muffler (5) onto muffler mounting bracket (4) .
Install exhaust pipe (7) onto muffler (5) .
Secure exhaust pipe (7) to muffler (5) with clamp (6) .

Install new manifold gasket (9). Apply Tooling (A) on the thread of bolts (8). Install washers and bolts (8). Tighten the bolts.

Apply Tooling (A) on the thread of clamp (1). Install muffler clamp (1). Tighten the clamp.
Install heat shield (3). Secure heat shield (3) with clamp (2) .
Apply Tooling (A) on the thread of clamp (2). Install muffler clamp (2). Tighten the clamp.
Close the hood.
