Remove the cap from the hydraulic tank. Attach Tooling (A) to the hydraulic tank.Note: Hook up the air to Tooling (A) in order to create a vacuum in the hydraulic system. This will minimize the leakage from the hose assemblies.

Use Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to install the cab, the cab riser, and the cab guard on the machine. The cab, the cab riser, and the cab guard weigh approximately 1860 kg (4100 lb).

Install bolts (16), washers (16A), plates (16B), and washers (18). Use plates (16A) to adjust the lateral clearance between the hinge plates on the cab and one side of the two hinge plates on the frame to a maximum of 1.2 mm (0.05 inch). Use plates (16A), as required.
Install nut (17A). Tighten nut (17A) to a torque of 750 50 N m (553 37 lb ft).
Install locknut (17). Tighten locknut (17) to a torque of 750 50 N m (553 37 lb ft).

Open access door (2) in order to gain access to the inside of the cab riser. Open hood (1) on the engine compartment in order to gain access to the shutoff valves for the heater hoses.

Inside the cab riser, install bolts (15) on each side of the cab riser.

Position cable (14) in the mounting location on the inside of the cab riser. Install pin assembly (12), the washers, and the cotter pin.
Position the rod end of cab riser cylinder (13) in the mounting position. Install pin assembly (11), the washers, and the cotter pin.

Connect hose assemblies (10) in the locations that were noted in the removal procedure. Connect hose assemblies (9) in the original locations that were noted in the removal procedure.

Connect ground strap (7). Connect all hose assemblies (8) in the original locations that were noted during the removal procedure.

Install bracket (5). Connect harness assemblies (6) in the original locations that were noted during the removal procedure.

Inside the engine compartment, turn shutoff valves (4) counterclockwise in order to open the heater hoses.
Close hood (1) on the engine compartment. Close access door (2) on the cab riser.

Remove the air and Tooling (A) from the hydraulic tank. Install the cap on the hydraulic tank.
